As a Zumba Instructor, Tekora wanted to motivate people to move, especially those who may be resistant to a fitness regimen. Whenshe started her healthier living journey, Zumba was one of the first classes she took, at the gym. 70 pounds (lighter) later, she still keeps Zumba as a part of her fitness regimen!
“I appreciate Zumba because rhythm and movement come together for a workout filled with cardio and muscle engagement. Once you start feeling and seeing your body change, it will trigger an internal switch, that will ignite a relationship between you and your body. Change your mind and your body will follow.
